Em 2008, os professores sergipanos travam uma luta jurídica com o governo do estado para evitar a perda de direitos já conquistados. 30 mil professores de todas as partes do estado deixam suas escolas e partem em uma longa jornada para lutar na capital Aracaju. O desafio é convencer os desembargadores do Tribunal de Justiça a não votar pelo fim da carreira do magistério. O julgamento é adiado duas vezes e a batalha se prolonga por um mês. No meio desta luta entre governo e professores, a professora Ana Rosa vive o desafio de ser mãe, mulher e dirigente sindical. Ela precisa conciliar as múltiplas tarefas da vida profissional e doméstica, mas a incompreensão de seu marido e a visão machista de sua própria mãe tornam a sua jornada ainda mais desafiadora.

In 2008, teachers in Sergipe fought a legal battle with the state government to prevent the loss of rights that had already been won. 30,000 teachers from all over the state leave their schools and set off on a long journey to fight in the capital Aracaju. The challenge is to convince the judges of the Court of Justice not to vote for the end of the teaching career. The trial is postponed twice, and the battle lasts a month. In the midst of this struggle between government and teachers, teacher Ana Rosa experiences the challenge of being a mother, a woman and a union leader. She needs to reconcile the multiple tasks of professional and domestic life, but the lack of comprehension by her husband and her own mother makes her journey even more challenging.
